Something Different

I thought i would try a little still life....I used graphite pencil, watercolour, and coloured pencil. Pretty Happy with the result..

Look what finally came in the mail this week. You cannot believe how excited i was when i saw the little slip from the post office in my letter box telling me i had a package...

Art Day

Art day today!!! Finally the sun is back out so i got a chance to soak up some vitamin D, and some inspiration, before heading back inside to my easel and drawing materials. Today i will be working on some watercolours and for a change i'm going to be playing with some clay. I haven't played around with sculpture since my first year at tafe so it should be interesting, and fun!

To say thank you to a lovely friend for allowing me to come along for a once in a lifetime opportunity I drew this:

 

It didnt take me very long but it did occupy a couple of my lunch breaks at my normal job, although i'm sure i looked like an idiot lugging around my large sketchbook through the shopping center. I can't help it, but i always have to have some sort of drawing material on me, "just incase!".
