Difficult Pleasures

I should start by explaining why i called this blog "Difficult Pleasures". It comes from the documentary about one of my favourite Australian artists, "Difficult Pleasures: A portrait of Brett Whiteley".

"Difficult Pleasures" relates directly to my art. Art is my pleasure but i have worked really hard to get to where i am today, some of that journey has been difficult, and it continues to be difficult.

I have just moved, which means my journey is about to get a whole lot more difficult. Meeting new people and making new connections. But as long as i do my art it will be ok.
